West Pro, established in 1990 by Mrs. Susana West ( read resumé ), is a woman owned, home-based computer training business that allows her to achieve a dream of providing computer education to the individual as well as the corporate world. It provides a vehicle to accomplish what she loves and does so well - teach. West Pro provides computer training for small and large companies such as - Intuit, HP, Applied Signal Technology, ESL/TRW, San Jose Police Dept. in Silicon Valley - and for individuals who require a computer for business, research, home, and school. Mrs. West's patient, no stress style of education has helped many clients overcome their computer anxieties.
Mr. West ( read resumé ) added classes to West Pro's curriculum that introduce students to the Internet and website development & maintenance (HTML, CSS, PHP). Mr. West applies his software engineering and software quality background to developing websites for schools, small businesses, and individuals and West Pro's hosting and domain registration services. He is currently teaching xHTML5, CSS, and PHP classes at Clovis Adult Education in Clovis, CA.
West Pro's original business plan offered application training such as Microsoft's office suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft's operating system, Windows. Later, website development courses and website hosting were included in the business plan. To assure a hacker safe hosting environment, West Pro leases a Virtual Private Server, VPS, from Verio / NTT Inc. Verio offers many website based business solutions and applications; and, provides client support 24/7/365 - based in the USA. West Pro is a Verio Partner and resaler.
Mr. and Mrs. West's industry experience included employment by ESL/TRW, NASA - Mountain view, and Applied Signal Technology. They taught Microsoft Applications, Windows OS, Internet, E-mail, and website development at West Valley Community College in Saratoga, CA and San Jose City College in San Jose, CA. The Wests bring their practical industry and teaching backgrounds to the clientelle of West Pro.
